Heart Eyes is a fun valentines slasher rom com with a glorious opening kill and a creative new killer design. Despite some underwhelming plot twists and poor pacing at times, I can see franchise potential. Overall, pretty decent.

My final movie of January was a great experience. Companion starring Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid is an interesting thriller with a powerful message. I saw this in imax and it just blew me away. My first experience with imax and I'll be doing it again.

Just watched Puppet Master and found it to be really fun. The hotel setting is great and the puppets themselves were really well designed and brought to life incredibly well.

Definitely going to continue this franchise. Especially since there are 15 films! 😂

Just watched Wolf Man in 4DX. Pretty fun werewolf flick with great performances and a lot of heart but it could have done with an extra 20 minutes to wrap everything up.

Two most recent films I've watched. I really enjoyed Society. Great body horror and had my squirming on my couch.

Not a huge fan of A Bay of Blood. I thought the kills were wonderful but the story was just really lacking for me.

Watched all 4 with my gf. She hated Society 😂

Kicked off the Christmas season with Silent Night, Deadly Night.

Pretty decent slasher. The unrated version included some added gore so that was fun.

Lake Mungo was a depressing exploration of grief and a nice twist on the typical ghost story.

Killer Klowns was hilarious and potentially the wackiest film I've ever seen.

The Owners started really well but lost it's way.

Watched this last night. Sydney Sweeney puts in a really good performance, especially during the third act.

I loved the haunting soundtrack and the tense atmosphere of the setting.
