Almost forgot.

Day 3. 8:15 AM. Back to the original cabinet that was left open on Day 1. We can now ascertain a trend.

Now to narrow down the which suspects…ehmmm… candidates may have an aversion to closing cabinet doors. Let the data collection continue.

Day 2 evidence. Captured 10:15 AM upon returning home from my early offsite meeting. Additional notes, woke to no power until 9 AM.

Two different cabinets left open than yesterday.

Two data points does not yet reveal a trend. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

I’m distracting myself by conducting a new family study. Every morning about this time, I am going to sit in this chair and take a picture of my kitchen. It appears someone may have an allergy to closing cabinet doors.

All of the below clubs have been eliminated at the US Military Academy for POC and Women. I was a member of SWE in college. Let’s call this what it is. Not the tearing down of DEI but reigniting of white Christian Nationalism.

My mantra this year is ‘protect my peace’ and that’s kinda blown up in my face but it’s a process. It’s been a roller coaster of rage, yoga, anxiety, community, doomsday planning, getting my ass kicked by #AdrianWilliams at #Peloton, googling scream therapy. How are y’all doing? How y’all coping?

Whelp. If there was any question Bezos still had complete control over Amazon, that’s cleared up. After the inauguration there was no question that he’s no better than Trump.

Amen.
We keep hearing about masculinity from the Zuckerbergs of the world-- this woman has shown more courage in this 60-second clip than any of the tech billionaires have shown in recent memory as they grovel at Trump's feet.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is going front and center on my vision board indefinitely.
I love this so much!

At the inauguration, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wore a distinctive collar adorned with cowrie shells, which are believed to offer protection from evil in African traditions.

This choice mirrors the late Justice Ginsburg’s practice of using collars to convey a message.

Today I focused on Dr. King and immortalizing his legacy through service. The alternative was misery and fear. Hands in dirt, alongside community, making an impact together.

And I thought - this is the place - where change and reform happen. Not from politicians. From underground folks. Just wait.
