Some hair has been harder to simplify than others, though. Shoutout to Ren Amamiya and Ryuji Sakamoto from Persona 5 for having some of the worst hair to simplify (but I got there eventually)

Artists, how do you draw hair? Show your art!

I have a tendency to simplify hair down to simple shapes (unironically learned from years of drawing Homestuck, which is an amazing study of how to make simple hair with iconic silhouettes). I only add in detail for flair or messiness. Works great!

This entire bit of the chapter is great. The Tamao-Sawa friendship warms my heart, and the way both Sawa and Rakumaru have contributed to Tamao's healing from her past is just beautiful

One of my favorite mangas, Super Baby/Supermarket Sweetie, had its official (and only*) translation halted for years while it kept releasing in Japan

A month after I sent MangaPlaza an inquiry about it, it's ANNOUNCED TO COME BACK IN SEPTEMBER

If you missed it, this was the post. The post they linked to is by a random r/itchio user, and it mentions using AI to draft a complaint letter. They pretty much said "Don't get mad at us, go do what this post says instead" even when the post says to use AI. So weird and irresponsible of them tbh
