The old characters don't get enough room to be more than callbacks and the new ones don't have any depth to them. There were good moments and episodes but not really satisfying arcs as such. The finale sets the stage for an interesting next season, but I lament the wasted potential of this one.

A lot of this feels like it could have been fixed with better editing. I don't know to what extent them changing direction and having to overhaul the whole thing made this be the way it is, feels they tried to desperately salvage what had already been filmed and force it together with the new plot?

A lot of the music choices feel bizarre to me, not very daredevil, more atmospheric tracks and less licensed music please. Or just silence, that's good sometimes too, you don't need to fill every scene with music

The fight scenes in particular, but also just scenes in general keep cutting way too much, I would personally prefer if they let the shots and scenes linger way longer

Scenes feel weirdly disjointed, like they’re only vaguely related to eachother. A lot of "and then" type of storytelling where things just happen right up until the last episode where it just sort of ends without much climax

Watched Paprika for the first time yesterday and I choose to interpret it as being in the same universe as Breaking Bad
