It sucks but we got Trump's approval rating below 40% and most people blamed the GOP for the shutdown (which the Dems actually caused). Blame party leadership for not getting more but take the win.

This is what I keep going back to. The GOP want the rates to skyrocket bc that is what they voted for (they just want Dems to get the blame). I think the fight changed that dynamic. Not sure how much longer they could fight for it before the public turned on them again after blaming Rs/Trump.

It is time for Maine to be absorbed back into Massachusetts in return for the Big Dakota. Then we can make DC and PR states to keep our flags the same.
