Its been a while but I returned from a 2 week break from mtgo this week and top 8ed the FNM challenge with a deck that I wouldn't suggest anybody play unless you either have an unhealthy obsession with delver or can't fit regular UB into your rental limit

Top 4ed the FNM challenge with my favorite pile of cards legal in the legacy format, I probably need more beans hate in the board but other than that I like the position of rug right now. Most importantly I love playing the deck and when you are having fun you play better, its a win win

Feels very nice to be back on rug delver, top 4ed the FNM challenge and I think the only thing I would change about the list is splitting abrade and meltdown

I've been watching vintage content for a while now but finally decided to try the format today, had a couple 2-3s and 4-1s with dimir lurrus control with saga before I decided to test without the saga. I cut it and a couple baubles for a lorien and the two enchantments and I got my first trophy

bubbled the late night challenge with dimir delver, I don't actually think the deck is good but it keeps performing just well enough for me that I stick with it, beat SNS, burn, moon stompy, and UB tempo, lost to UB reanimator and U painter. which is a tough MU that I want to devote more slots to

Lost in top 8 of the legacy challenge to awful variance vs mono red (30 cards deep one delver :( sad). I don't love switching off of RUG but I'm very happy with this list in the current meta

Shit the bed in the challenge and 1-3 dropped, got a consolation trophy with the same list. I think this is the happiest I've been with the 75 overall?

Decided I didn't want to lose to oops or the mirror so I played a 4 cage 4 pyro sideboard in the challenge tonight and top 4ed, don't think I'd recommend this board but its not awful

4-2 for 11th in the challenge tonight, decided to cut the counterbalance and immediately got paired into 4 decks I wanted it against :( still a fine result, no top 8 this time but you can't win them all

Couldn't make it to the Portland RC bc of college stuff, got a consolation prize of a challenge top 4. Same list as last week, I still really like all the choices other than maybe counterbalance so I'll work on that over the next few days. This entomb card might be kinda good???

Top 8ed the challenge today with RUG delver, same list I ran in the paper monthly. Really weird matchups, no force decks until top 8 where I couldn't dodge the bad matchup all night and lost to nadu. I understand the 19 land 2 druid builds but this is just what vibes with me more.

Just a PSA for people coming to legacy from other formats for the showcase: You should probably put a bit more effort into picking your deck than just going to goldfish and picking the first list for the most played deck, otherwise you end up registering 4 blackcleave cliffs lmao

Had a pretty dogshit week so I decided to skip the legacy challenges this weekend and go play in my LGS’ monthly, went undefeated and won $200 and a wooden deck box which is pretty sweet (also waffle face reveal I guess?)
