I don't believe my R friends are racist. I just don't thing they ever see how racism drives so much of the underlying policy because it's spun and laundered so well. Until we solve the info flow to that group we will continue to deal with this stuff.

They have but not at the anticipated speed or rate expected. My sense is that companies were absorbing them longer rather than passing them on. That they gouged 2 yrs ago and people continued to pay those prices so they had inflated margins to work with.

Is there any financial evidence that part of the reason it's taken so long for the market to reflect the tariffs because major corps had price gouged during the inflation under Biden? Those padded margins would seem to have given a higher than normal cushion to absorb the tariffs.

Newt to now is a straight line of R's figuring out where the "lying" line has been moved.
