Book Review: Accidentally JOINING HIS CULT By LEXI AMBER Read Date: 7/02-7/02 Lmao I definitely would not want to be in a business with Beck. What do you mean you turn your brain off cause the guy giving the presentation is hot. Aside from that it was a funny, emotional at times and enjoyable read. Both characters were likeable and definitely give off the vibes they will stay together for a long time. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading bi awakening, naive characters, opposite attract and a low angst. This book was defintely fast pace with the medium spice level. @JOYFUL.MARIE Book Review CREW by KIMBERLY KNIGHT & RACHEL LYN ADAMS Read Date: 7/13-7/16 This was a decent read, but a bit messy. At times it felt like different storylines were just being thrown in randomly. Crew and Knox's dynamic was interesting. They definitely had sexual chemistry but I wish we got more romantic scenes that showed their slow progression from being attracted to each other to actually developing a relationship. The pacing was okay overall, but it moved a little too fast, and some of the subplots weren't my favorite. The ending, honestly, it sucked. I get that there's a second book coming in this series, but this one still deserved a stronger wrap-up. I'd recommend this to readers who enjoy teammates-to-lovers stories and books featuring characters who are already parents or about to become parents. @JOYFUL.MARIE Book Review FALSE START by FELICE STEVENS Read Date: 6/31-7/31 There's so much I loved about this book. The way Patrick and Fallon meet and grow closer felt natural and heartfelt. Their relationship was realistic and emotionally satisfying, you could truly feel how much they cared for each other. The ending tied everything together beautifully, and the epilogue added an extra layer of warmth that made the story even more rewarding. If you enjoy second chance romance or the boss/employee dynamic, this one is worth picking up. While it wasn't perfect, it was still incredibly enjoyable. The characters were genuinely likable, and their choices made sense given their growth and circumstances. I recommend it to readers who enjoy character-driven romance with emotional depth and believable chemistry. Thank you to Happily Booked PR & the author for providing me with this ARC. After being on a reality show kick lately, this book came at the perfect time. Blake and Liam were hilarious, and the book's structure made it such a fun, quick read. If you're a fan of Love Is Blind, Married at First Sight, or Love Island, you'll definitely enjoy this one. While it's not super spicy, the heat level fit the story perfectly. It wasn't perfect, but was it entertaining, funny, and bingeable. I'm already excited for the next book in the series, especially after meeting the next couple in this book and seeing how secretive they were about what went down between them. Saw #Thunderbolts* last night and all I have to say is that this movie was actually good. Definitely one of the better Marvel movies that been release recently. The acting was top tier & it’s funny.

3.5 star out of 5.

My favorite book this month was “Just For The Summer” by Abby Jimenez and “Net Bet” by Ryan Taylor & Joshua Harwood. One Piece volume 1 and The Summer Hikaru Died Volume 1.

Despite the 10- year age gap, the relationship between Gabe and Brody never felt creepy or exploitative. The dynamic between them was balanced and respectful. Gabe was incredibly understanding of Brody's struggles, showing patience and unwavering support throughout the story. The flirting and playful banter, often filled with double meanings were perfectly executed and added humor and charm to their interactions. This book contains a fair amount of spicy content. If that's not your preference, you can skip those scenes without losing the overall plot, though you might miss a few details but would not ruin the story. Both characters were incredibly lovable, and the pacing of the story was just right, not too rushed nor too drawn out. I highly recommend this book to fans of hockey romances and age gap relationships. I enjoyed it so much that I plan to continue with the series. Rating: 4.5/5 stars. While not perfect, it was enjoyable to read with excellent pacing and engaging characters with only a few minor things I didn't like or enjoy in books I read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Just finished listening to the audiobook for this book & I have to say I didn’t enjoy one bit of it. The only saving grace for this was the narrators, they both did an amazing job w/ what they were working with. Didn’t like the characters.
