Ultinately, I did not think the story would become popular and go outside of my little sphere. I do not do it for anyone else. Its for the people who kept me alive. if other people enjoy it, cool. But it was juat for MY readers. And I do not mind what anyone else thinks of that 😅

Who had their entire accounts removed from publishing platforms for including content warnings in their books (queer books are targeted harder. laughably the less sex version of my book almost got banned on Amazon because I tried to write in the descriptor that it was less sexy 🤣.)

When I got better and it was time to publish the work outside patreon I made both available to purchase because again, people asked. As for why I didn't use content warnings: back when we went to print, I was not sure how Amazon and other distributors would handle such a thing. I had author friends

Where the sex scenes were swapped out for more relationship stuff that wasn’t sex or didn't have heavy emphasis on it.
People were very happy with it and appreciated the effort that they still got whole chapters of content instead of less to read.

Because I was dying at the time I was writing the book, and people were keeping me alive by funding my patreon so I could go to the doctor. And many of them said they were happy to support me but would not read the book because of sex scenes. I felt bad, so I decided to write another version

Malheureusement, si, lmao. Ça va, je m'en fiche. On peut m'aimer ou pas. Je sais que je suis apprécié par ceux qui voulaient une version plus douce du livre, avec des scènes différentes. Je l'ai fait pour eux. Pas pour obtenir leur approbation.
