I feel you. I have one 5 minutes from me and one in South Korea. The one here flew all the way to SK to spend a week with her sister while I have trouble getting her to stop by my house on the way home from work because "she's tired." 😂

"Rode hard and put up wet." This one isn't said wrong, just used as a sexual reference instead of a horse reference. Even worse is when you use it correctly and someone is shocked at your sexual reference. 🙄

Someone told me this is Appalachian speak, which has rules of its own. They also say "taste of this" instead of just "taste this," and "I don't care to" instead of "I don't mind."
