That has always been the case in my state. Parents can opt out of sex education and have been able to for decades. That is what is so ridiculous about the conservatives. They say these things to stir up the ignorant.

Yes. Having been a public school teacher I can attest that this condition has been present for a very long time. Most autistic people are said to be “on the spectrum” which often just means that they lack in some social skills. Most function normally and are well equipped to live a normal life.
