The dank stone walls sweated, despite the biting cold, the runoff creating a rhythmic drip, like a menacing metronome. The limited light seemed to heighten her sense of smell, the stench of earthy dampness overwhelming. Squinting, she could see four of them - no five. She was surrounded. #writecbc
