Found it at the Black Country Living Museum yesterday. If you haven't been, you should give it a go. Went 100 metres underground on a narrow boat, learnt about local history and ate 1950s style fish and chips. #Birmingham #Tipton

Met @robinince.bsky.social at a book festival a while ago. We had a great chat + he expressed interest in reading my #poetry pamphlet 'How not to multitask'. Couldn't make his reading in #Nottingham today but a friend was going + gave him a copy. Sorry to miss you Robin, I heard you were brilliant.

Last year, I had a short piece published by Shine Cancer Support. I wrote it after attending a #Xmas party, when I'd just been diagnosed with #cancer.
I'm sharing it this #ChristmasEve for everyone dealing with illness, grieving, or struggling in any way.
It's okay to feel however you do at Xmas.

Made #κουράβιεδες (Greek #Christmas butter biscuits) for the last #Greek class of term tonight.
I haven’t made them before so no idea if they're okay but the dough tasted nice. 🤞🏻
(Still need to cover them in icing sugar before they're finished).

My partner and I made a Victorian street in chocolate cake. The odd chimney or roof tile got stuck in the mould, but we were generally quite pleased with it.
