I managed to install the software required, but you have to log on using the Facebook you had at the time. I don't have it anymore. I deleted everything. And you can't set up new accounts to use it.
It does not inspire confidence to invest in new hardware if they do similar in the future.

Meta are evil. I have a VR headset for an old Samsung phone (and a vr camera). You can no longer use the Samsung headset because meta bought them out. You have to buy their new really expensive headset. I wouldn't use it that much. The vr camera was an interesting experiment.

I don't know why but this makes me laugh.

That is how I feel. I am wary of another social media platform. I have two followers who just followed me. Don't know them. I may not post and just lurk. Until I feel this isn't going to turn into another twit-fest.
