I've had a very stressful week.

This evening, my son came up to me (unprompted) and told me he wants to be just like his dad when he grows up because he loves his dad.

Today is a good day.

Like most baseball fans (it seems), I don't root for the Dodgers to do positive things.

However, Dodger Stadium is a Top 5 ballpark in MLB.

It has been a hard week since my dog passed away over the weekend. I miss my buddy, but I know he's healthy again now.

The emergency vet we took him to that helped his passing sent us a personalized card and it meant a lot to me that they did that.

I miss you, Williard.

It's been a hard day. My wife and I had to help our dog cross the rainbow bridge last night. We adopted him when we first moved to Cleveland. He was around when we got married, became homeowners, and when we became parents.

Williard (his name) will always be a member of our family.

I personally believe that making the playoffs and having a poor performance still makes for having a better season than any team that didn't make the postseason.

Now that I will not be going to anymore baseball games this year, I can make this post.

I went to 21 games across 9 MLB ballparks.

I never saw the Reds lose (6-0).

I crossed off all four permanent ballparks in California.

My son crossed off his 6th at PNC Park.

It was a good season.

I'm at the "sitting on the couch" portion of the Reds game, but soon it'll be "standing nervously in front of the TV" for the rest of the game.

I really like this picture I took at GABP yesterday.

Happy 1st year of retirement, Joey Votto. I hope you're enjoying life; but, man, I certainly miss you playing for my favorite team.

I was able to make it to 9 MLB ballparks this summer, which is a new high for me.

Please enjoy my favorite photo from each ballpark.

Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds.

I'm always a sucker for getting a picture of a ballpark from the upper deck behind home plate.

The Savannah Bananas are great for baseball and entertainment. The arguments that they are bad for baseball and that players 100+ years ago would be ashamed need to stop.

For all we know, Honus Wagner would have loved to play baseball on stilts while an emo pop-punk band played in the background.

I took a PTO day today just to sit on my couch with MLB Network on the TV and my phone in my hand.

Happy Trade Deadline Day.

Date night in Cincinnati!

No matter how many times I've been here, this view never gets old.

We took a trip to Philadelphia this weekend. We saw a couple of Phillies games and visited some of the historical landmarks in the city. It was a great weekend with my wife!

Tonight is my 200th MLB game of my life and I think that's neat.

Because I like this selfie with my mini me.

Over the next week and a half; I'll be making the drive to Philadelphia to see the Phillies play, Pittsburgh to see a game at PNC, and then down to Cincinnati to see the Reds play.

Let's go.
July 17, 2025 at 3:11 PM
A week from today, I'll be driving across Pennsylvania with my wife to go see the Phillies play. My wife is a Phillies fan and we travel to Philadelphia yearly so she can see them play, but next Friday night will be my 200th MLB game and I think that's neat.

My son informed me that he doesn't think it's fair that I don't get a daily nap at work and he would like to discuss it with my boss.

My wife, son, and myself were driving on the highway and got run off the road by another driver. My wife was driving and did an amazing job saving us from wrecking, but we did end up in the median.

The driver who did it didn't stop. No one else did either.

Y'all suck.
