On X, Premier Danielle Smith said she met with Donald Trump and key administration staff at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend.

A public itinerary sent Friday by the Alberta government said Smith is out of the country on vacation with her family from Jan. 7 to 17.

There needs to be more consultations with stakeholders from the LGBTQ community regarding Premier Danielle Smith’s plans to reduce youth access to gender affirming care, according to Tanya Fir, Alberta's minister of arts, culture and status of women.
