We ended our workshop with a chair game to seek reflections and discussions from activists on what was needed to win the game and how it can help us to understand power and its manifestations within us and wider systemic structures.

The groups also discussed racism, sexism, sexuality and imperialism. They came up with slogans & statements to reflect upon as the workshop went along.

We wanted everyone to gained a real insight on the causes and manifestation of the economic crisis happening now in the UK using videos from our explainers on our economic injustice website (economicinjustice.org.uk)

3) grassroots members through Race Equality Network in Bradford
4) charities such as The Trussell Trust fighting poverty and brap in Birmingham working with established organisations such as the NHS & schools to help them tackle racism through an anti-racism framework and much more.

Groups who came together over the weekend included:

1) women-led grassroots organisation - WAST - working with refugees and asylum-seekers in Manchester & VVIDY, a grassroots migrant organisation in Sheffield
2) activists working in regions such as Weston-super-Mare

The JtoJ team - Tania, Martin and Dr Abi - started the day with a barometer exercise to harness key ideas on perceptions and actual reality felt on the ground by voters around immigration.

Standing Together is the largest grassroots movement mobilizing Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel against the war and occupation. The future they work for, peace and independence for Israelis and Palestinians is possible with a united front.
