Today our oldest turns 18 and she’s most excited to register to vote. She wants to be a high school history teacher, she’s a voracious reader and she takes no shit. Happy birthday kid.

We did a fun thing last night!! Early birthday gift for Ryan, a paranormal investigation with @theadamberry.bsky.social at the Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford. No photos allowed from inside the house so here’s some from the museum, @newparkbrewing and of us floating with Adam! 👻

It's been 12 years. 12 years since the call from school that they were locked down. Our oldest daughter not able to get home, youngest at daycare. Pick up later was haunting. SHS 8 miles away from our home, learned the next day one child killed had been at summer camp with ours. Be gentle in life.

Yesterday was a golden day for me. Watched the documentary’Turn Every Page’ and went to The Flagpole Radio Cafe show at Edmond Town Hall in Newtown. I’m not yet 50, my soul is 80, and I miss my Dad. He would have loved this day.
