Lived in 2 houses in Ottawa. Neither had home delivery. All had a box halfway down the street. Had the same in a couple houses growing up in Newfoundland in the 80s.

I found it was harder for hockey than basketball. (Suicides/51/Newfoundland)
We sometimes had to skate backwards on the way back to the goal line and also pushups every time we got back to the goal line….in full gear.
Even harder when coach used the whistle to indicate switch directions

I also appreciate walking right off the plane and out the airport door, and having lighter bags.
I never check a bag, even for 2.5 week trips abroad. My backpack is the exact allowable dimensions for carry-on.

Even Downsview was fine last night for me. Had floor tix so made our way to back of venue for last song. Walked quickly as soon as show ended and went straight to the subway without any stops. On train right away.

They couldn’t get out of their own zone for a big chunk of the game last night. That’s the story. Completely out-matched. A total ass-kicking. Like they were from a lower league.
