Breaking news: rabid sea lions were seen sneaking on to WH grounds. SWAT has been called. As of this hour the Sea Lions are holding the South Lawn. POTUS has been flown to Mara Lago. Vance and Hegseth refuse to leave and are drawing up plans from the Oval. Updates within the hour.

As a child of a CIA agent I am outraged by the juvenile irresponsibility of every single person on that Signal call. My father has been dead for 25 years. But he would have been struck mute ( and he was not a man of few words) by this idiocy called an administration. The whole lot of them.

It is a world filled with uncertainty and outrage. But we cannot lose focus. Keep on keeping on. It's not going to get easier. But it will get more important.

Today I called the WH comments line number 202 456 1111. The nice VOLUNTEER was unhelpful. I said I was concerned about the impact on special education students with closing Dept of Ed. She only said I should send an email. I said I was concerned about the 80,000 job cuts to the VA and the impact
