I took a CPAP machine, soldered some wires to its logic board, and reprogrammed it to unlock the features of a much more expensive model in the same product line.

dealing with a new variation on an old emotion. I've felt endless worry, fear, and sadness before, of course, since I was a little kid. but the last few weeks it's what I can only describe as "free-floating dread." like something really bad is going to happen to people I love, and soon. I hate it.

I was like whaaat and sure enough the second hit on google for just "milwaukee road tokyo" is an old guidebook that says they had an office there. It's OCR'd even: the text showed up in the search results! It was just never fed into to the all-consuming maw...
