A 1863 painting of Maltby near Rotherham by Ambrose Wheeler Holohan (1836–1910). When this was painted Maltby was a small agricultural village before the discovery of coal at the end of the 19th century, turned it into a mining town.

Whilst we are on the subject of Saint Andrew. LNER Railway poster showing St Andrew's Fish Dock (1833-1975) in Hull. The artwork was by Frank Henry Mason (1875-1965). Mason studied at Scarborough College of Art and was a member of the Staithes Group of artists. Best known for his maritime scenes.

One of a series of three paintings, 'Peril (The Harbour Flare)' John Atkinson Grimshaw. 1879 is a depiction of the combination of moonlight and fire with the harbour flare burning on a stormy night guiding ships into port. Seems appropriate for the next day or so.
