We went to #COP30 in Belém knowing the challenges. Knowing our voices as faith actors might struggle to be heard in those halls. We went anyway. This work is about showing up for each other, everyday, in solidarity. #ClimateJustice #FaithInAction #SystemicChange

We were present this year at #COP30 with many members and longstanding partners and allies. We were also part of a much wider community of voices and actors calling for change. These voices will keep chanting for #climate justice @cidsen.bsky.social

Week 1 in #Belem for #COP30 with @cidse.bsky.social felt both longer and too short. Inside the venue, progress on just transition and climate finance still needs real political will. Outside, the People’s Summit breathed hope, urgency, solidarity. The Amazon is speaking, are we listening?

First day at #COP30 with a very successful meeting between the NCCEA (Network of Catholic Climate and Environment Actors) and the Holy See Delegation. Always impressed by the expertise, the passion, and the commitment of this community and the process that brought us here. @cidse.bsky.social

#TBT to last week in Geneva 🇨🇭

CIDSE pushed for a binding #UNtreaty that puts human rights above corporate power.

After 12 years, affected communities need this instrument to end corporate impunity.
Progress is coming, now we need political courage ✊

Today we are sad, but he also reminded us that our joy and hope are necessary as we continue our work for greater justice and dignity. We've got this.
🕊️ Today we lost a champion for the voices of the marginalised & the victims of injustice.

#PapaFrancesco taught us not to be indifferent to the cry of the earth & the cry of the poor, but to act with compassion & solidarity.
🙏Thank you for your incommensurable service.
