The latest BBC apology follows a 17th July interview by Annabel Amos on BBC Radio Northampton, where the Scottish campaigner Andrew Montford was introduced as the ‘Director of the campaign group Net Zero Watch’

No explanation of its funding or allegations of denying climate science was presented.

Yeah it's devolved, and there are. I metro mayors in Wales or Scotland anyway AFAIK. Wales is introducing a tourist tax too though

Also confirmed: "Milkshakes and lattes will be subject to a sugar tax for the first time, Wes Streeting says."

"Speaking ahead of the budget, Streeting said the government would remove the exemption that milk-based products currently have from the Soft Drinks Industry Levy in January 2028."

How it will work: "Under the Single Leader model, [ONE] leader will be elected by the end of Feb 2026 for a period of no more than 21 months...

"Under the collective leadership model, the Chair & Deputy Chair of the CEC - ordinary [non MP] members - will provide the party’s leadership" in that time
