The steam deck verified system is a broken mess, I still just either look at protonDB or watch some YouTube videos on a game I’m on the fence about playing on the deck

I’ve yet to play kingdom come! But I’ve seen similar clips that are insane to think about making as a solo dev 😆 for that reason tho I’ve avoided playing kingdom come, I need to stay in scope and actually finish my game while also being addicted to MH wilds

I absolutely love NPCs that “live” life outside of you playing! I think medieval dynasty did this super well

Nah there’s plenty of right leaning people here that also flocked to Bluesky simply because they also got tired of Xs constant political atmosphere. I joined X way back for game development. Algo changed on me so I left and have nothing but game dev here now so

I left Godot a few months ago, but generally speaking if the version of Godot fit the entire scope of my game I released in that version and moved onto the next version

Lines blurred for me I guess lol my day job I’m a PM for some of my favorite games I’ve ever played

And I still whole heartedly love the games I make on the side as well

Oh 100% just depends on what you want in the industry.

For me I want to ship complete games and for that to happen effectively I need to stay in obtainable scopes
