I LOVE how @mysk.bsky.social thought of every little detail based on evidence from their research over the years. It's attention to detail like this that truly makes Psylo a step above the rest for privacy & security.
Psylo deliberately doesn’t offer a share feature due to a privacy issue in iOS’s share feature: it generates a link preview of the website you’re sharing using your IP address, which bypasses Psylo’s tracking protection. You can tap and hold the address bar to copy the address.

This is an excellent analysis of the various misleading claims made today. Nice to see the actual facts, statistics, and court cases. Great work @lizdye.bsky.social and @legaleagle.bsky.social.
Our @lizdye.bsky.social is back with yet another @legaleagle.bsky.social video — this time breaking down all the nothing DOGE found when it looked for “fraud, waste, and abuse” in the government.

This is a huge first step against the invasive Flock cameras! Let's hope for a victory in this case which has national effects. I see these Flock cameras everywhere I go now and it is extremely concerning. Thanks @timcushing.bsky.social for your excellent reporting.

Great reminder to never use Roku or hook your physical TV to the internet. Never use built in apps. Buy an Apple TV or use a computer (with uBlock Origin). Much better experience and avoids the tracking, blocking, advertising, etc.
Oh yeah no I have a midrange Samsung I bought like 18-19 and I had some of the apps set up. I got an apple TV for work and so factory reset the TV and the menu is actually useable now. It will never be hooked up again. Fun fact: Roku devices send info about your other network devices to Roku!

Still using Google Photos? With just one photo, they uncover so many intimate details about you and your life. Stop putting your personal data in the hands of Google and see what just ONE photo can tell them!

Did you know your personal data could be compromised RIGHT NOW? Data breaches are a constant thorn in the side. Check HaveIBeenPwned.com to see if an email or password is leaked. Don't see any? Great. There's still more work to do. Use a unique password on every site (with a password manager).
Have I Been Pwned: Check if your email has been compromised in a data breach
Have I Been Pwned allows you to search across multiple data breaches to see if your email address or phone number has been compromised.

Techdirt nails it again. Protecting free speech isn't about who's in power, it's about preventing ANY administration from becoming the arbiter of 'truth'. It goes both ways. Principles over party, always.
Nice work @mmasnick.bsky.social

Congrats to T-Mobile for achieving the absolute bare minimum standard of security for their customers. It only took 9 breaches since 2019 to stop your first attack! Keep up the good work. Fingers crossed that you don't lose SSNs again.

Everything BlueSky is doing shows they care about the user experience. Way to go @bsky.app
Wow. I had no idea on BlueSky you can enable external media so you can watch YouTube videos on this platform. It overcomes the problem of only being able to upload 60 seconds of video here. It’s gets better & better
