FF also has a weird pattern of not allowing local extensions outside of the Dev edition unlike Chrome. Just tons of questionable little decisions like this pushing away what you'd imagine is their core audience.

Bluesky isn't the sole verifier, but they are reviewing each verification submitted by a Trust Verifier - does that not retain Bluesky as the ultimate arbiter of who can/cannot be verified?

Magic links are so frustrating to me - I purposefully don't have all of my email on my phone so if I try to use a service with magic links I'm basically bound to my computer.
To be fair this same issue appears when a verification code is sent over email, which is why I still prefer TOTP 2FA.

This is something I used in iTerm religiously and it does seem that Ghostty has a similar feature called "quick terminal", not quite 1:1 (tabs aren't supported, but maybe soon? github.com/ghostty-org/...)

I kind of disagree - why does the platform need celebs to have some kind of status marker? I feel like the userbase is becoming so hyperfocused on being _the_ Twitter replacement that they're missing the underlying intention of Bluesky and the decentralized platform generally
