And I agree, they can flip Hayes at the deadline pretty easily, but I honestly like the idea of Hayes with some of the young players. I was very happy with his play last year. If the Pens are looking like a WC team I'd hold on to him.

Yup. I'll honestly be surprised if EK starts the season as a Penguin. I think the only thing that may make Dubas apprehensive about moving Karlsson is having a suitable replacement in place, but it just feels like a parting of the ways will happen sooner rather than later.

Unless a crazy offer comes along, I think they keep Rakell, too. I think Heinen and Acciari can easily be moved, and possibly Hayes although I'm weirdly not opposed to holding on to Hayes until the deadline.

He’s been one of my hopefuls for the Pens to draft. I know there’s some skating criticisms, but I think he’s exactly what this team needs.

I know Hyman isn't McD or Drai, but I think losing could very well cost them the series. He's EXACTLY the type of player they're gonna need to push back against Florida.

I get that, but this category is pretty much points-driven which in general is odd. 98% the dman with the most points wins it. There should almost be two defense trophies.
