I used to be a reporter covering litigation. A skateboarding accident derailed my career. I'm finally getting stronger after years of physical therapy. Now I'm learning to surf at my parents' new house in Kona. I feel incredibly fortunate to live here.

With the nickel blitzing and the safety flat footed, there's nothing to prevent an easy Eagles TD throw to the slant. Instead, McKee overthrows the much more difficult out/fade route to the back pylon.

Colts line slides left, leaving RT and either rookie RB or rookie TE to block two rushers. Both rookies release into routes. This means Anthony Richardson is hot. He has to account for the unblocked rusher by throwing to either the RB or the slot WR. Who are both wide open. AR never looks that way.

This is probably an extremely inefficient way to build a character in a soulslike game but, as someone who played way too much Diablo as a child, I demand the right to wear all of my hard earned high level gear and still be able to roll in circles at top speed.

Google's TV & Streaming and Watch Live buttons for sporting events have become completely useless for college sports. This game is available on FS1, but it doesn't tell you that.

Boise State vying for a spot in ESPN's playoffs. Wouldn't know it checking their College Football home page. Have to click on the Scores tab for it to actually appear in the "Scoreboard." Classy.
Not gonna cry for Fox, but it's amazing how far ESPN has fallen as a legit source of basic information.

Because of the incorrect protection, DJ throws hot to the RB but leaves the ball behind him to the outside shoulder. The RB has to stop and it's easy for the defender to make the tackle short of the line on 4th and 4. Needed to lead the RB upfield and inside for an easy 1st.

Florida State slides its protection to the top of the screen but the LB drops out. The RG has no one to block and a rusher comes free on the opposite side of the line.

Cowboys were doing a good job of stretching Sauce Gardner with high-low routes in cover 2, but this slant flat combination doesn't threaten him deep and allows him to recognize it immediately. Dak can't try to squeeze this in late after a lineman forces him to pump fake.

Chargers only rushed 3 guys on 3rd and 10 for the biggest play of the game. They didn't run cover 4 and didn't double Tyreek Hill (running up the right sideline). What a pointless defense.

Mahomes tonight was very similar to how Hurts played in the Super Bowl. A couple missed reads, a few questionable decisions, but his team would have had no chance at all without him. Should have taken the TE for a 1st down here instead of the deep shot into triple coverage.

Eventually Lance shows he can hit some seam routes, but he does it when the defense throws cover 3 blitzes at him repeatedly and the line blocks them up perfectly. You're basically shooting fish in a barrel at that point in Shanahan's offense. The windows will never be bigger.

This cover 3 route bends from the right seam to the left seam, allowing the QB to choose which window is most convenient based on how the underneath defenders play it. Lance somehow misses all the windows and nearly runs his WR into the opposite sideline. It's amazing his line blocked for that long.
