I finally took some time to look through the new D&D Starter Set that @dndbeyond.com sent to me and I'm a little mad I didn't have this when I started running an old Starter Set adventure this spring.

I agree that there are a lot of issues with how Obojima presents itself, but it's important to note that Justus actually didn't work at 1985 Games at that time, he just doesn't use LinkedIn.
He moved to Norse Foundry in 2022 before that Kickstarter launched in late 2023. 🙂

I wrote a section about this specifically for Paragons: The Roleplaying Game.
The general principle is that it takes trial and error to get it right with every game group and type of scene, but it draws an analogy to an episode of television.
