And there will be local factions and mysteries to navigate in the Neo-Thracian Nexus. I am designing the local campaign setting based off the seminal JG-102 Caverns of Thracia by Jennell Jaquays. The area exploration will be run as a Caravan in the style of Luka Rejec's Ultraviolet Grasslands.

The dragon's agents (the PCs) have braved the sea voyage through the chaos storms to the mouth of the Hebros river, and have found a river island to fortify as a base camp. This region has not seen outsiders for 500 years, and the other world factions are bound to have agents on the way.

My daughter's rpg game Elyncia (beta in progress) has multi-cultural fantasy folk from various Earth-time-periods and fantasy worlds. One of the voyaging cultures is the Ali'i of Hawaiki - who are the first folk to develop mana powered hydrofoils for their voyaging canoes.
