ChickenZilla comic. The farm dog confronts Henrietta the hen about the terror her offspring is. Henrietta challenges the farm dog as to why he thinks it is her definitely not adopted son that is terrorizing the farm. The whole area is aflame as Henrietta defends her son Godzilla from the accusations as smoke seeps out of his mouth.

A blonde haired ruffian girl, and short-wide spiky haired tough guy, and a slim brute punching a fist into his other hand. Frankie's mom is tall, freckled, and black headed just like her, but is much more of an athlete and wannabe influencer. Her father is incredibly short, with sunken eyes, and ungroomed.

Probably her. She's a bully, and an antagonist but I just like her design a whole lot. Though that also seems to be a divisive topic. I find people either like the way she looks, or think she just looks too weird, lol. I'm a big fan of the no forehead design.
Long blonde haired 12-year-old bully, that is all chin and no forehead.

Been working on a pitch for a middle grade horror graphic novel. It's like Shock City meets Goosebumps. I normally do humor based work, but it has been incredibly fun to work on something totally different.

Found these again whilst rummaging through some files. I remember the spread was a pain to do, and never attempted to do it again.
A princess knight donning cardboard arms and armor rides her trusty tricycle steed. Princess knight looks on. A full spread of a princess knight, clad in cardboard armor, saves her prince by doing battle with a frighteningly dangerous dog....er...dragon.

This is an idea that's been rattling around in my noggin for a good while now. Cryptid Scouts (like the Cub Scouts, but for cryptids). Never really developed it too much. What constitutes a cryptid seems to be a pretty divisive conversation. In fact, pretty sure only Sassy in this instance is one.

A child escapes the cold weather by ordering a nice hot meal and hot cocoa from a hardworking, big eyed octopus. Cover for The Big Shrink. Ten-year-old superhero Frida Fuego deals with her arch-nemesis...hunger! A colossal corn cob appears in the city, shocking Frida Fuego. Frida seems much more relaxed and even happy the colossal corn cob has appeared. She quips 'Looks like dinner is served!' Frida takes off using her fiery heat based powers to engage the new corn cob threat in the city.

A trio of orphaned raccoon siblings find dinner in a dumpster. Older brother Leo chases his twin sisters Fiona and Joana. I prefer tight sketches, as I find a good structure really helps me as I progress through to final rendering. Though there are still adjustments I make in between, like in this piece. Was way too symmetrical, so a head tilt really helped. #kidlit #artshare
