A fun Procreate painting for the evening. Really got into a relaxing zone while working on this one.

I’ve been working on the sequel to this book for years and keep running into dead ends. I know the major points of the story and the ending, but getting to some of the plot points has been difficult. Yesterday I had an epiphany. I’m going to try a new approach this time around. Really hopeful.

Made this Procreate painting two years ago to the day, and it’s still one of my favorites. It’s one of a very few that actually lived up to the vision in my mind. I’m usually somewhat disappointed with the final versions of my paintings, but I suppose a lot of artists are.
