Years ago I had a French partner, and at a party of hers I met the (English) boyfriend of one of her French friends, who called me a simp (among other things) for learning French so I could communicate better with her. That was… eye-opening.

100% agree. For my money the most imaginative design, some of the best scares/sequences in the series and I would actually say the best soundtrack.

That’s disappointing to hear. The writing of SH4 was something that fundamentally changed me when I played it back in the day.
