Yeah only need one good season to make players interested. Just look at Washington. But I have to admit Williams is my least favorite contract. A one year wonder who thrived next to Jalen Carter for $26mil a year feels way too rich. All the others are overpays but only two year deals

I just think we've become a badly run franchise. Draft badly, try to replace with overpaid players, have a coach and GM on different time-frames. We've become the Bears. Hopefully we get it right in the draft and these are mainly two year deals but I don't love our approach

Honestly I'm most excited that we haven't gone crazy and haven't signed anyone to really long stupid contracts. It's all short term sensible upgrades to positions of need

Playing next to Carter makes me feel that Williams is a big risk. I don't mind the strategy of just getting in guys who make the team better and good culture fits. Steady over flashy

That's totally fair. And perhaps Vrabel and co can get some of LBs under contract playing at a higher level. Would love some more speed in that LB corps though

I don't disagree with the top choices but I might suggest LB over TE. The LB play without Bentley last year was laughable
