The way that a handful of rich old guys tried to buy the election for their three chosen candidates and block the property tax levy. Same guys who do this every single local election for decades, spending way more to kill tax measures than the tax would cost them.

I never really highlighted this amazing and generous writeup by @theurbanist.org of my race, so want to just give them a big shoutout. It’s incredibly important for urbanist candidates to have institutions that can support them and celebrate good policy.

shouldn’t legalize corner stores or neighborhood cafes.

I did most of my signwaving near my city council campaign yard sign during our town’s protest. 2700 people in a town of 13,000!
