What’s the vino?

He’s shaken things up and he backed it up in the end. I agree; it’s a win-win for the league.

I also thought he showed something but did notice he’s prone to letting his emotions run. He’ll learn to manage that. What’s interesting is that he projected as a No. 6 in Montreal but looked most lively as a 10. I think there’s a player there.

It’ll be interesting to see where he lands. His uncle is the sporting director at FC Supra so there’s an obvious connection there. However, I think any young player could be tempted if a real role was presented.

The Wanderers 2019 kit remains my favourite. But I’ve loved kits all over the league, be it Valour’s white and gold kit, ATO’s 2024 kit or really anything York has done over the last two years.

One thing I’ve always thought: the CPL’s look (kits, broadcast, club badges) punched way above its level. Macron did a lovely job, especially the last few years, giving every kit its own look and feel. I’m very curious to see where Hummel will line up.

Ingham praises Sam Salter, calling him a key part of their return to the final by setting an example on the pitch but also with his work habits.

Cloutier calls Ingham important to not only the backline but also the club. He also cites Manny Aparicio and others.

“They’re huge in the dressing room.”

Asked about Cavalry’s attack, Ingham says it’s no secret not to give players like Warchewski space.

He also calls Sergio Camargo probably the best player to play in the CPL.
