a lil hover state interaction i'm working on for my app (a browser Extension) I'm launching soon.

I thought it would be cool to include a pixel/bitmap drawing tool. turns out it's fun to use, but I have too many drawings and needed to add in Folders

after years of selecting captcha images containing bicycles, boats, busses, crosswalks, and motorcycles, I finally get my revenge.

captcha, welcome to the war on cars.

mildly interesting: I've observed for a while that baggy jeans have become more popular but it looks like they were neck and neck with skinny jeans up until mid-2023, and now baggy jeans is the clear winner (for now). what's next?

if you're using relative dates in your app, remember to give users the ability to see the actual date. this example from Claude is good, just a simple hover state will suffice.

somehow I always have a connection error when I go to publish some changes. meanwhile every single other website in existence loads for me, indicating I do not, in fact have a connection error.

refreshing seems to fix the issue but I do not know if my changes have been saved or pushed live?

ever since Webflow added the "auto save CMS items" I've had persistent issues with the Designer saving my changes.

The number of times I've updated a CMS item, went back to my site, and published it, only to realize my changes were not saved - is too damn high. very frustrating.

ahah classic gemini

giving Gemini a try at work and I'm not impressed. outputs are varying quality, and occasionally i get random "errors" like this with no context. I expect much better from Google

it's good thing the bunnings sausage sizzle is not considered processed meat. you "nutrition experts" can pry this from my cold dead hands

occasionally when working on a Claude artifact, I get kicked to this error screen when it's generating some code. happened on 3 of 5 of my last requests. brave browser (no, i don't want to use chrome again)

I am on 15.5 and option+click is now doing this. I expect it to maximize (but not full screen)
July 1, 2025 at 7:36 AM
why did Apple change the longstanding functionality of Option+Click on the green button on any window? doing opt+click used to maximize a given window on your screen (nice and simple), and now they replaced it with an inferior functionality = whatever this shit is
