Would Arthur C belong in recs that mostly list modern works? I've relistened to much of his work and it doesn't have the overbearing ideology, hedonism, homophobia and jingoism of Asimov, Heinlein et al. His short stories might be a good fit for those raised on youtube and Instagram.

The Golgafrinchans included almost every type of useless human but apparently drew the line at telemarketers, who were not on the manifest. Is it a bad sign that I knew this before looking it up to confirm?
