Having a past of being disposable follows you.

I literally come in, do my job, support my coworkers, laugh and hee ha with everyone, go home. One single person has a problem with me. One single person has EVER had a problem with me on this team.

Have never had a manager go to a coworker and say "I think he's not doing his job bc xyz, I think he's bullshitting call outs to make me mad, I think Lane is bitter and retaliating against me." but here we are.

Do you get bored, brain? Huh? Huh???

If I can't transfer, they're about to see what happens when I check out, after consistently filling all the spaces they needed filled. I was teaching. I was helping everywhere. I was supporting when my coworkers needed someone. Fuck that.

But oh fucking well. They dug their own graves. I'm fed up with the bullshit and bouncing out for the holiday when they'll really need me. See how they like it when they don't have the support they need, either.

The manager himself is new and inexperienced. I cannot stress what a stupid choice this is, to appoint someone even newer and even less experienced. He needed someone he could lean on, not have to teach from scratch.

It didn't even need to be me. It just had to be a fair fucking shot. No one got a chance to even TRY. I would be happy for anyone on my team to take the spot.

I'm planning to let everyone know what happened, too. People deserve to know when an entire team got fucked out of a competent leader.

They are losing at least two of their best people to this shit. Hope it was worthwhile hiring someone with zero knowledge or experience in our department.
