What's even more annoying is that GPUs just finally started coming down in price after the triple whammy insanity of Crypto, Covid Gaming and then AI.
For about a month it was an pretty OK time to be buying PC parts, annnnnddd now it's gone again.

OK so on the Steam Machine front it seems that it's a fairly "mid" spec machine, pretty close to what current consoles are, and we're approaching the end of their life cycles!
This will live or die by the price they ask for these I think.

OK so on the Steam Machine front it seems that it's a fairly "mid" spec machine, pretty close to what current consoles are, and we're approaching the end of their life cycles!

NEVERMIND turns out the temporary CPU cooler I was using doesn't really work at all and the CPU is perma at 100c 😬
Guess we'll have to stick to the Win 11 gaming PC for the time being. Annoyingly guess which part I ordered is delayed...
