Set piece prowess is great and all but in open play we've been terrible. I know you wrote about it last week but we have to figure out a way or we know what'll happen. Be it Merino up top, get Odegaard and Eze on the pitch at the same time so it shares the loads and creates more jeopardy.

Odegaard is a problem. We create so little in open play. Having a great set piece is great and all. We're league leaders and have zero swagger about us. Utd in the doldrums and we make them look great. Very deflating.

If the EU reacts, Donny can turn around and say "look, they're the bad guy", right now the EU are just letting him run his mouth. This only gets real if the US invades at which point the US will be at war with NATO. Carney said they are ready to support article 5. It's brinkmanship at its best.

As you said, low risk affair tonight, maybe that gives the team an opportunity to be a little less cautious. If we want more from the attacking third we're going to have to play a bit more open at some point, so maybe this is the moment to test it out.

There's going to come a point that Gyok will have to be dropped. Yes it'll damage his confidence, but starting him every week isn't helping either. He'd probably benefit from a reversal where he is the sub & gives him the opportunity to be the hero. Just got to hope MA realizes before it's too late.

If the US takes Greenland, you'd have to assume the EU would expell all US military personnel and close their bases and ban US planes landing in the EU. Would that be a worse situation for the US than not having Greenland?

The fact we are now actively hoping for other teams to do us a favor is sort of damning at this point. Maybe this is our dip and it's a good time to have it but those old demons are starting to resurface me thinks. If we finish 2nd again, what does it mean for MA?

We'd want to temper expectations, that was awful and wolves ARE awful. Gyokeres doesn't have to be world class but he has to be better than that. All that money spent and CF still a problem. I'd prefer to see Jesus start against Everton at this point.
