The Notts vs Derby: Poetry Slam yesterday was amazing. Full of great performances that reminded me why I love art and live events. Congratulations to Nottingham for winning (and Mohan Mohammed for winning best performer) but great work from Derby as well. Both teams should be very proud ✊

A huge thank you to Showroom Cinema and the speakers for putting on a film studies programme for Palestinian films. Seeing Bye Bye Tiberias again with a fantastic introduction really made me appreciate it a lot more 🇵🇸

As a round out to this personal eulogy I must mention Hussey's most powerful moment on-screen. Which is the moment she goes to greet the carolers in BC. She is terrified that someone is coming to kill her and her friends, but she goes out and smiles for the kids so as not to scare them. RIP ❤️
