I am very, very fortunate: The person who performed mine is one of the best spine surgeons at the best orthopedic hospital in the world: HSS in NYC. I had it it in the spring of 2021. (Now in fairness I had two previous microdisectomies that didn't quite take)

I had a spinal fusion (L5-S1) and was on a plane to Europe 3.5 weeks after. Totally cured me. Crazy how 10 people can have this surgery with 10 different outcomes.

I just hope it involves Ashli Babbitt
