My tv has Nhk-world on it. Back in the 90’s down in a Los Angeles there was a Japanese language channel I used to see at my grandmothers house. Not sure what it was as I wasn’t as savvy back then. Figured the Bay Area would have had it too. I even caught sumo on it a couple times by accident.

Your dad is right. (this time! Ha!) this movie is darker than it needed to be. But in a good way! Did Batman just attach a grenade to a guy and drop him down the sewer to explode?!?! I believe so!

I heard a TON of this when was at the Nagoya basho. It’s seemed really fun to me though. So the expectation is to just cheer with everyone else and stay silent between the matches? Maybe a “Yoisho!” At certain times?
