We owe it to those already there to make this right. In whatever equitable way possible.
Re: U.S. CECOT detainees, the main q is NOT 'did they ever allegedly commit a crime?'

Rather: Is the US allowed to deliver them into lifetime imprisonment in a notorious Salvadoran prison camp without charge, trial, sentencing, or consideration of international/asylum/anti-torture law?

Clearly no!

Remember love and the present moment.

Also, power is the only currency that speaks to Musk, so if you want to push back, threaten his power.

We have to pull debate into the corporeal world through in person protest and real world consequences.

"coffee is only good when it is served in jim crow conditions"
Missouri's AG Andrew Bailey is suing Starbucks, arguing that its workforce is too "female" and "non-white" and as a result Missouri consumers “pay higher prices and wait longer for goods and services" because its workforce is "less qualified"

This is a brazenly racist and sexist lawsuit.

Hard power is undeniable and that isnt where Id start in criticizing this Pete Hegseth.

Conventional War fighting is definitely about having the best weapons and fighters in the highest quantity.

That doesnt mean we should continue to bleed GDP into our military with no question.
god this guy is an idiot. like, a stone cold idiot who sincerely believes that war fighting and preparedness is about having the biggest dick
Hegseth at NATO summit: "We can talk all we want about values. Values are important. But you can't shoot values."

Yes and No. Moderation is important but if the majority of your free speech is taking place here, we’re still going to see the tails taking over.
I’ll say it again. What makes this platform different is that it’s moderated. And, The Terms of Service are enforced. Bluesky is not like Twitter

The world needs a platform where people who disagree can have a real discussion.
The problem is you assume they want to "engage and have reals discussions on real issues." They don't. When confronted with facts, data, science, actual laws, and the like, they resort to spewing lies, disinformation and hate.

Baby you make my subcortical structural adaptations SPRING
Bilingualism is associated with a bigger brain. Similar to other cognitively demanding skills, it leads to dynamic subcortical structural adaptations which can be nonlinear, in line with expansion-renormalisation models of experience-dependent neuroplasticity. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
