Tonight’s theatrical double feature consisted of a 60-year old ghost story and a brand new ghost story. Both are terrific.

I finished the 100 Horror Movies in 92 Days Challenge today. I typically don’t like anything that dictates what I watch, as recreational time can feel like a chore, but this was fun to do and drove me to seek out horror movies I hadn’t seen. #Letterboxd #100HorrorMoviesin92Days

My watch for this October’s Hunter’s Moon is Cry of the Werewolf, which sadly lacks a full moon. Leaves rustled behind me while I stood outside looking up at it, and I was certain my family would be telling the police tomorrow “he died for those mediocre photos” between sobs.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year when streaming apps have dedicated Halloween sections. I’m disappointed that HBO Max doesn’t have one this year. MGM+ has a single row but at least it’s something.

It appears Mad Monster’s cancelled their Atlanta convention. It’s been missing from their site for months, and they updated dates for their other cons through July 2026. I hope it returns and is set away from Days of the Dead Atlanta and Dragon Con so it sees all of the success it deserves.

I got in the presale waiting room for Ariana Grande concert tickets before they went on sale but they sold out before I had the chance to purchase. Another date opened and I was in that waiting room before they went on sale and, again, all seats were gone. It’s just a concert I am not meant to see.
