Morning, everyone! We are in a dark, difficult to extricate from place right now. But it’s not forever, history has shown us that. We must never give up and enable the light to break through. Find your joy wherever you can.
Here’s what may be the last blooms of summer. Good Saturday to you.

In case I don’t get back here tonight, cause you know-Friday- I’m saying goodnight a little early. Wishing you all a good evening. May your dreams be sweet and plentiful.🌙

Good Saturday morning, everyone!
There was a time, in the not so distant past, when the 79th St Marina and the river surrounding it was filled with boats as far as the eye could see.
We need to bring that back again, soon! 🤞☀️

Reasons to celebrate: it’s Friday, it’s the first day of August, it’s not 100 degrees, and we survived another week in the hellscape of the US.
The last makes us stronger and more determined to right the wrongs. Together 💕

Chris just sent the sky downtown over 11th Ave. Omen for the light breaking through our darkness? 🤞

Friday's story of hope. I was trying to get my young wisteria to sit behind the railing. Told it I didn't want to tie it up because it was too delicate. So I left the branch alone. Next morning, when I went to water, this is what greeted me. Happy Friday, hope there is wonder in your day.

It's a sunny day, on the UWS, perfect time to highlight another bldg in our historic districts. Neville & Bagge’s
Beaux-Arts style Bennington Corners, one of a pair of apt bldgs on West End Ave, noted for the terra-cotta parapets featuring large peacocks in full display. Quite something to see.

With all the planning and $ that goes into a project here, why on earth would you make a bench ( a rarity in these parts) facing a restroom blank wall when you can turn around and see life in the city. W 57th/12th

To break up the horror of the day, here’s a pic of a WEA bldg in our historic districts. Always keep looking up, in life as well as on your walks. Never know what’s there otherwise.
