My tire blew out last night. Thankfully I was a few blocks away from a friend's house and left my bike there. Picked it up this morning and managed to almost fit it in my car lol. The tube blew out, not sure what could have caused it. Getting a new tube and tire later this weekend.

I'm almost 1 month into my new medication and so far it's been great. I've had trouble keeping my diabetes and weight under control. I had cut out a lot of junk foods but my glucose was always elevated. Finally asked my doctor for help and they prescribed this. I hate injecting myself but it helps.

I purchased a new couch last week. My fat cat scratched it today when he had the zoomies and jumped at an odd angle and almost fell. It's barely noticeable but I was. Wondering how long it would take for him to claw it. He didn't do it on purpose but now I gotta find a cover that will fit it.

Biked to a few places today and met my friends for coffee. It was 103°F out and I definitely felt it. The UV index was also pretty high so I wore sunscreen. I drank a ton of water.

Went to go see Monkey King Fights the Skeleton Demon today. It was a cool play and my first time going to an event like this.

It's cool right? Now I just need to get the color that I want which is golden yellow. Saw it on a bike during our group ride. There's a guy here in Austin that does these.

My new bike basket has been painted and I spent some time adding stickers to the rear of it. Not sure if I'll add stickers to the sides.
