My secret inspiration to start learning #gamedev? The proof is in my Steam year in review! I played Rain World exclusively for an entire month, and then immediately started working on my first game.

This actually also works as a pretty good list of the games that inspired me to start learning #gamedev I think the Stardew Valley influences are very clear, but a special shoutout to Rain World for being my true, secret muse!

I finally fixed a problem I've had for months now! I just couldn't figure out how to keep items equipped when reloading my game.

The solution I found was to have the *items* loop through all the npcs and equip themselves to the npc that needed them! Kinda odd but hey, at least it worked #gamedev
